Topic: my space

OK, so after watching my 14 year nephew create a myspace last night I thought, Why not?
   Only problem is I don't know where to go from here, like how do you add more than 1 song to your player. And how can I get some friends to add me and visa versa. Anybody want to help an old hippie out so I don't look like a complete loser to my nephew?  He calls me the "cool uncle"  by the way..     Thanks.

hey, it is easy ^^
you got your 1 request.
if you want to add somebody, go to his profil and click on "add me" or "friends"
in their contact table. then you have to wait till they click "accept"

i'VE BEEN  a Myspacer for about 3 years and enjoying it!! smile My advice: DO NOT load your page too much with useless graphix...edit and add to yourprofile, but keep it cool!!

WOW, OK so I started looking around the edit profile area and found some request/messages area. Started clicking and I see a whole bunch of JB people. Jane, Dean, Patty, Carl.  Now I feel special. If I'm not doing the whole myspace thing right please let me know. Like should I go to everyones page and post "thanks for the add"    I'm so new to this myspace, so please bear with me. But the networking has to be HUGE.   Oh well thanks for everyone jumping in/on, I guess thanks for being my friend.   Gotta go click around some more and see what I find.        www.myspace.com/pittsburghjeff

   How did you put the JB video on your front page?  I see where I can upload videos but they won't be on the front,   Or will they?   Or do you copy the code and drop it in the profile module?

also settings you might want to not allow just anyone to post comments or set it to use that thing where you type in the word you see. there's alot of spammers and bad juju on there. stay away from the skanks. no reason to add someone who you don't know and they just started a page, if someone wants to be your friend bad enough they will tell you why.

Yeah I already have had a few people I didn't know want to be my friend. Felt bad ignoring them but I don't want to end up with a mile long page with a bunch of useless bandwidth hogging graphics.   Thanks Jane.
