Re: British Blues Explosion Tour

The reviews of the Cavern Club have been unbelievable. So exciting! Wish I could have been there, but so glad it was so successful. Damn.

Bloody hell! I don't think I've ever read two such over the top stunning reviews of one of Joe's shows or anyone else for that matter. Not that I'm really surprised by the reaction as we've all been gushing like this about Joe for years.

I could copy and paste a few of the superlatives but I'll just leave it to Purple Revolver's rating at the end of their review.

Thank you Rick!  I got enormous chills reading these.  So proud.  Congrats again to Joe!

Re: British Blues Explosion Tour

I was blown away when they popped up in my bot Sally.
As Wooders said, reviews like that are practically non-existent. The other's "See this man before you die!" says it all as well. Joe surged to the top of the bucket list brigade in that accolade. roll
Now our friends across the pond got another taste of what we locals have lucked out with at the Baked Potato. Joe going off and having fun playing the music he loves in a small legendary club. He really lets it rip on those occasions. I hope they get a shot at his live RCFP some day. Ronnie Scotts would be perfect.

Re: British Blues Explosion Tour

Urgent. If you are travelling to Hoghton Tower tomorrow night it has been moved to Preston Guild Hall. Doors at same time, ticlkets still count if shown on the door. There is a load of parking nearby. big_smile

Come on the Blades (sorry Idolbone just had to borrow your line)

Re: British Blues Explosion Tour

Does anyone know if any of the shows were filmed/recorded? Would absolutely love to own a show from this tour on Blu-Ray.

I don't think GMT was filmed but then I was a bit far back from the stage so I'm not certain.

I guess you missed the the damn great podium with the camera on top half way back near the tee shirt stand? Or the multiple remote camera's going up and down on stage next to the drum kit? Camera guy dressed in black on the stage? smile You sure you were at the right show? wink
