Topic: Would like some suggested artist similar to JB & WT

I am a huge WT fan and as of last night I have been BONABAPTIZED!  I am looking forward to making new friends here.

So friends, what do you recommend for suggested listening for more artists such as JB and WT?  I already have the following full collectoins :

1) Walter Trout
2) JB
3) Poppa Chubby
4) SRV
5) Blues Traveller
6) Robert Cray
7) KWS
8) Jonny Lang
9) Bonnie Raitt

I have partials (soon to be completed) for

1) Roomfull of Blues
2) Coco Montoya
3) Susan Tedeschi
4) Tab Benoit
5) BB King

I like more of the influences from rock such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton so recommendations toward that genre would be appreciated.

Eric Sardinas: Black Pearls   Great slide guitar !

I agree with the Phil Sayce recommendation. His album is very good.

Listen to some Jeff Healey too. He is completely amazing, especially considering the way in which he plays guitar.

I am also into this 19 year old English guy called Scott Mckeon. Check him out on his myspace. You can listen to 4 songs on there. He recorded his CD with the great Jesse Davey www.myspace.com/scottmckeon

For sure Wes Jeans, Johnny Winter also comes to mind.  And Ive heard the Eric Tessmer band is really sweet as well.

Yes, he is good. Another band from Austin, Joe Richardson Express, is good as well.

YES! Warren Haynes, what an amazing player he is.  All of his stuff is incredible.  Gov't Mule is a fantastic band.  Warren and Joe are about the two hardest working people out there in music today.
