Topic: Joe Walsh/Bad Co.

Saw this bill last night and was not disappointed by Joe Walsh to put it mildly! He had a large ensemble with Waddy Wachtel ridin' shotgun. They played some of his new and some of his hits from over the years including Funk 49 and The Bomber from the James Gang era. He did some Eagles too, including In The City, Life In The Fast Lane, and a stellar Take It To The Limit which he dedicated to his brother Glenn Frey. Lotta kleenex used up on that one! Bad Co. Followed a very tough act and they served up plenty of hits with Howard Leese and Rich Robinson handling guitar duties. The "Voice" was in peak shape, but like myself, many headed for the exits early since it was a work night for many. Not sure if they rotate the closing spot, but I'd have hung till the cows came home to hear JW!   He's Cool, Oh Yeah!     J Dawg

Re: Joe Walsh/Bad Co.

Thanks for the review!!  It sounds like they all put on a very good show.  My wife and I are seeing Joe and Bad Company next month in St Louis and we're looking very forward to it.

Yes, thanks ohiodawg13 for the review of this show.  We've got a pack of folks planning on catching this show at Pine Knob on Wed, June 22.  Saw Paul Rodgers minus Bad Company, about 10 years ago just before he teamed up with Queen and I swore I wouldn't miss if he came around with Bad Company.  I'm sure it's going to be an emotional night for Joe Walsh as he'll have lots of Glenn Frey friends, family and longtime fans here in metro Detroit.
