Joe Came & Conquered!!!

If I could only pick two words to describe Joe's playing tonight:

Fierce & Ferocious!!!!!

Add another word to it:   Fierce & Ferocious Tiger cool !!!!

Everything was a perfect mix: sound, lights, Joe on the edge of the stage most of the show was icing on the cake!  Absolute perfection tonite by all band members and Anton delivered a killer solo on the drums. Lots of love from the crowd!  And. I was so happy to be there with my pal Rhonda Pierce, aka Photogal...seemed like old times....  "party like it's 2006 wink

Pattyluvsjoe...I WAS THERE TOO!  I took my 9 year old son.  It was his very first show.  I am sooooo hoping someone out here in the forum got some pictures they can share with me.  What a show!  You may have actually seen my son sneak up front.  He trailed behind the fella with the "Happy Birthday" sign.  Then the guy gave it to my boy.  After we started out in the 4th row,  a nice woman up in the front row saw my son and ended up having two open seats we could have!  Things just kept getting better when Michael made eye contact with my son early on and kept giving him nods throughout the show.  Then at the end, Michael, Anton, AND JOE came over and shook his hand!  And the very very best part....before shaking our hands, Joe made a turn and headed back to the mic stand....came back with the slide for my son!  It was EPIC!  Not only did he have the courtesy to give my boy the slide, but he didn't just toss it at him.  He walked over and handed it right to him.  It just doesn't get any better than that right there!  What a night.  What a night!

Hey Proud Papa Jelly Roll,

What fun!  I saw your son and it looked like he was having the time of his life down there!  That is so cool Joe gave him his slide cool He will have a great story to tell for a lifetime! Does he now want to take guitar lessons?  I noticed Joe played right in front of him too, that experience alone is so inspirational!  So delighted that you had such a wonderful time! Rhonda, aka Photogal got pictures of the show!

Love it when fans are "floating on Joe Cloud #9" smile

Re: Adler Theater Davenport,IA May 10,2016

Very first time posting . Second time I have seen Joe. First time was in Wilmington DE last November. Jelly Roll, that is a great story. I took a ton of pictures at the show. I may have been close to you and your son. I have not figured how to post pictures. Any help there would be appreciated. If you and your son were sitting on the aisle, I may have a picture of you two before it started when I was shooting test shots before the show started. Still going through all the pictures. I know I have some good ones of him playing with the slide.

Hey, Patty! When I didn't see you at the Omaha show I should have known you'd be at Davenport! big_smile

He is playing ferociously on this material, isn't he? Glad you got to see the show, and to share it with Rhonda!

That would be GREAT if you end up with some goodies!  We did start out on the center aisle of row 4.  Then we moved down to the front row just off to the left of center after the fella walked up with the "happy birthday Joe" sign.  Any pics you can provide would be great!  Welcome to the forum and all things Joe!
