Great time last night at Joe's first show of the US Spring tour. Joe and the band sounded awesome. Throughout the whole show I just kept thinking how incredible Joe's voice sounded. Really amazing how good it sounds. Cool to see some different guitars. Joe played a 1958 Mary Kaye strat he just acquired on the first song. Amos was played on a couple. Nice to see Carmelita again and he played a Special which was the first we'd seen that one since 2013 with Beth. Great set list with a bunch of the new songs. We were seated way up in the top balcony and the videos are somewhat shaky because when you have to zoom out that far, any slight movement like even breathing causes a big shake to the screen. Have to basically lock yourself in a position, which of course is just a killer. Plus there was a lot of sound vibration that the camera was picking up as well. Nice view of the whole stage though, and the sound was good from up there also. It was a great show all around and real fun time being there with all our West Coast friends.
