I'd be shocked if I heard Joe on commercial radio in the SF Bay Area. The only station that ever gave him any airplay was KFOG which just underwent a makeover to a more '90s friendly format. Then there was the time about 5 years ago when KSAN "The Bone" played Joe, but I was a guest DJ at lunchtime, my 60 minutes of radio fame and I made damn sure JB was a part of it!

KLOS is very big time for any artist. The instrumental of Ride is just too cool for school.

Heard Drive played on the Steve Wright show on BBC Radio 2 on my way home last evening.  I thought the opening bars sounded familiar then when it clicked with me I nearly jumped a red light in my excitement.  Steve said he thought it was one of the best songs he had heard and even pronounced Bonamassa correctly big_smile . Yay!

Hi Lyn, your post reminded me that Alice Cooper played TBOJH on his show on Planet Rock last week and he pronounced his name correctly too. Perhaps not quite so surprising for Alice to get it right but impressive that Mr (Middle of the Road) Wright did. smile

It happened to me first time ever: heard Joe on the radio. Local radio station that covers several New England states played "Drive". I couldn't control my shriek

I've been tuning into the BB King Bluesville station on SiriusXM radio off and on over the past couple years when they had promotionals.  I finally broke down & subscribed 3 weeks ago, and have been listening a lot more.  Still no Joe, until finally today.

This despite the https://www.siriusxm.com/bluesville main page that explicitly lists "Artists You'll Hear: BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Etta James, Robert Cray, Joe Bonamassa, John Lee Hooker, Johnny Winter." Nice company, but only if they actually play these artists.  I've not heard Johnny Winter yet either.

So today I had Bluesville on for a prolonged period streaming in the background on my computer and heard Takin' the Hit first (an all time personal favorite!), then the new Redemption title track later on.  Woohoo, finally!!

Moreover, I'm pretty sure they said they were going to preview the Redemption album on Sunday night?  I was only half paying attention at the time, but I thought they said it.  I don't see explicit mention of it on their web site, but I'm going to guess it will be on the Tony Colter show since past posts to this forum have mentioned that he's a Joe fan.  I'll keep an ear out further and try to play closer attention sad.

That would be awesome if the album preview comes about, whether only a couple songs up to entirety.  I wouldn’t expect entirety, but that would be sooo awesome.  I’m extra overly anxious for Joe’s Country music tribute and now this upcoming album release.
