Topic: Robin Trower at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta

What a great show last night!!

Of course Trower performed half of the Bridge of Sighs album with the usual Day Of The Eagle, Bridge of Sighs, Too Rolling Stoned and Little Bit of Sympathy.  Some new tracks from his latest cd which is a pretty good one.

At 71 years of age the man can still bring it.  His tone is untouchable.  For a Wednesday night, he did a great job of filling the place. Not a sellout but filled enough so the guy can walk away with a pretty good paycheck.

If you have the opportunity to go, I recommend it.  The majority of the crowd was in the 50s age range.  People that grew up in the seventies.  And some bringing their youngsters to educate them what true blues rock guitar is all about.

The legend continues.

yes I have seen Trower more times then I can count starting back to early seventies. For me he was a guitar god. I saw him last just last year and yes he still had it. I had a chance to meet him and such a humble guy that loves what he does and still is the master.
