Topic: Robin Trower

Hi All
I saw Robin Trower with my friend Jay last Weds. The guy still can swing a Strat like only he can. I saw Robin the first time in 1973 in Boston then the Music Hall now it is the Wang center. I got to meet him shake his hand and he signed my Trower Fender custom shop Strat. He was playing in Londenderry NH at Tupiloes. Since 1973 that has got to make close to 80 times I have seen Robin.

Wow 80 times....that's impressive....:)
Robin played his butt off as well on 10-17 in Greensburg Pa.....a great man/musician indeed.

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

Around that number remember this is over a course of 40 yrs. First saw him when is was 15 then for years 4 to 6 times a yeAr on the east coast. He still had the smile after he played when everyone would applaud. His face let you know he loves what he does and appreciates his fans.

Yeah he is awesome. My first guitar hero. I have had the pleasure to meet him and talk briefly. I will never forget the first Robin Trower concert I went too many many years ago as a young kid. I walked out of the show and had the feeling I had witnessed something life changing. Every note precisely placed and played with such passion.

Really love his music, twice removed and bridge of sighs two of my all time favorite classic rock albums of all time. I went to a concert, only to find he cancelled due to being sick. This was 73 or 74. Johnny winter opened. He was not that good that night. A rather unknown band call climax blues band replaced robin. And they blew Johnny off the stage. Very good band. Check out gold plated. And I really like Johnny, just he had a bad night. His last album(after passing away) was very good.
