Topic: On this day in 2013

A whole bunch of us were rocking out in the Royal Albert Hall.
Last gig in the Tour de Force, encore.
Rory's strat, Spot, a bit jerky at times but what a memory.
I think my vid captures the intensity of that moment in time.

Being a bedroom hack, I dont't know the right term to use ... but from the first spin of the TdeF release ... JGP @RAH ... I noticed and loved the "powering down" sound from the amps right after the last notes of JGP rang out.

Seemed to sum up perfectually the ending of what had to be a whirlwind in many respects of shows to pull off.  Love hearing it every time.

"I was in Space for less than 2 weeks … and suddenly Jeaniene’s back … half the Band is off the gd wagon … we have comedians opening for us … and the nice kid that ran our website is now a kleptof’nmaniac.  Boy ... did you guys miss me!!"  Phil Valentine - Road Manager - Staton House Band

JBLP#251 (unaged) ... thank you Ron.

Re: On this day in 2013

Just another note. Wenche posted the vid as a memory on fb and tagged me with the comment I scared the s#@t out of her. That was when Joe was ready to play JGP and I got her up, she was next to me, and urged her out into the aisle and charged the stage, blowing past the ushers who vainly tried to get me to stop. big_smile . She and the rest were right behind me. You can see the move in the vid, I never stopped rolling.
What an epic week in London. Worth every penny!
