Topic: song Miss You, Hate You

Does anyone happen to know if Joe still performs the song Miss You, Hate You live?  I have every single live DVD of his but am yet to come across the song being performed live.  It was just recently I came across his first album and immediately loved that tune.  I am a little more rock than blues (ok, a lot more rock) so it is right up my alley.  Thanks guys/gals...fellow Joe B. fanatics (it was years before I learned that "fan" was short for "fanatic"...kind of creeped me out).

If you look out your Tour de Force - Borderline DVD you will find it on there. Hasn't been played live since, to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks.  I just now fired up the Blu Ray.  Other than the DVD from his early days I could not remember watching the song performed live.

This was a regular part of the setlist for awhile, 2004/5 if memory serves me correctly.

I saw him do this live ...I think it was on Sloe Gin tour...Always thought this was kind of a poppy song, but it grew on me

Well, he was much younger and I imagine still finding his way musically.

Miss You Hate You was Joe's sort of venture in to pop culture.
If you pick up the ANDY DVD from the e-Store here, you can see the video they did for MTV
That was a "true" music video,

Re: song Miss You, Hate You

If you were one of the fortunate few back in the autumn of 2000, Joe played "Miss You, Hate You" twice in his set, following the exact chronology of the Okeh CD, meaning, the first time was the "rock remix" shorter version early in the set, and the second time, nearer the set end, was the extended length "original version."
