March 3. 2006
Ten years ago today I saw Joe in concert for the first time. I had recently bought his CD, Blues Deluxe, and liked what I heard, in particular Blues Deluxe. I knew I wanted to hear more from this guy.
Just a few months later I hear the local radio station (OKC KRXO) advertise a concert featuring Joe coming soon. If I remember right "Guitar God" was a term used in this advertisement to describe Joe.  Seems I remember thinking "you got that right" in reaction to that term being used to describe Joe in the advertisement.  So I bought tickets to this concert. This young man blew me away that night and I knew I had to hear more from him.  So started my infatuation with this young man named Joe Bonamassa.
I have never been so drawn in by another artist in all my years. Or addicted to an artist's music as I am to this young man, Joe Bonamassa.
I own  every CD and every DVD he has out. I have seen him 12 more times since that night and I plan to see him every chance I get until I can not get there anymore.
I did not have a camera that night but low and behold years later a friend came up with videos of four songs from that night. I am proud to share those four songs from my very first Joe Bonamassa concert here.

Congratulations on your tenth anniversary.
I can only claim just over eight years, 12-2-08 Crawley UK, which was the LFNIP tour.
No doubt you are looking forward to the new CD.

Congrats with your anniversary!!
I'm a big fan for 1,5 years now (not as long as you) and I've seen him once (a week ago) and it was the best concert I've ever seen.
I hope I can go to many more concerts. And I'm also looking forward to his new album. When it's available I'm going to buy the limited version with the book about his collection.

I hope that we all can see many more concerts of him and many more albums!!

Congrats on 10 years...it flies by fast, doesn't it?
It speaks volumes about our host that so many of us celebrate the anniversaries of our first "Joe show"!

Funny enough, this is my 10th year as a JB fan too..... It was Jan 1st 06 when I heard about him from a friend who had a poster on his music room wall..... He had a copy of Rockplast on VHS, I took it and converted to DVD for him and couldn't believe my eyes and ears!!!!
