Topic: Thank you Joe for doing the KTBA cruise

I just want to thank Joe for doing the cruise again this year. It is one of the most fun things we do all year. There is nothing quite like it. Not only do you get music from 11:30 am to midnight, you have all the food you can eat and a comfortable place to sleep and rest and you get to spend time with friends. We had such a wonderful time with some of our best friends Cathy, Maggie, Linda and Bob racing from show to show, taking in the glorious music and hanging out in between times. It was also so great this year that so many of our favorite bands were on the cruise, musicians who we have seen a number of times and become friendly with. Was wonderful having lunch with Reese Wynans, getting a super big hug from Michael Rhodes, chatting a bit with our dear friend, Paulie and his girlfriend. We ended up spending a good bit of time eating and talking with Josh Smith and his dad. Really good conversations. Nice to see JD Simo again and talk a bit with him. Hanging out with Davy and meeting his fiancee Amber. But one of the most special moments was with Jarekus. He saw us during his show and pointed up to us. Then afterwards when we were talking with him he said it warmed his heart when he saw us up there. Well, it warmed my heart to hear him say this. Because not only is it about the music it is about the connections you make with people because of the music. There are so many negative things going on in the world right now and it was so wonderful to escape from it for a few days experiencing something so wonderfully positive as music and friendship. So, thanks Joe for the cruise. Very much looking forward to doing it again next year.

Didn't want to step on Natasha's post toes so fast ... but in light of some Forum Family not getting the Newsletter ... received an email this morning with Issue #09 (2/26) ... features a 7 minute video with snippets of the 25 artist's performances from the Cruise.

Watched the video and naturally thought how great would a compilation DVD be (like the Crossroad Festivals) ... can't imagine the logistics and expense with so many stages / performances going on.

Luckily ... Natasha is so great in capturing and sharing for us to enjoy so much of it.

Thank u again!!

And thank you Natasha for letting the rest of us see so much of it!

You're welcome smile. Yeah, I saw that Davy had done that. Josh Smith and Johnny A also shared a few. Glad they like them enough to share them.

Re: Thank you Joe for doing the KTBA cruise

For me I thank him for last year, and I plan on thanking him in person next year.  I am so pleased he is doing this again.  Watching Natasha's videos reminded me so much of what I was missing.
