I really hope Pain & Sorrow gets played in the April/May shows to go along with songs from the new album.
Love all of Joe's music, but, a lot of us have been craving for more of that heavy rock sound that epitomized Joe in his earlier days. I know, I for one have been asking for the "power trio" to return. Shows what I know a "power 4some" with 2 drummers is even better. The teaser is enough to drive a fan like me crazy. Is this the one that we knew Joe had in him. I am so psyched.
They all are great, but, let this be the one.

I'm with you Bob....
Love what I hear. More edgy rock blues
This sounds ****aaaawwweeesssooommmeee****!!!!
Man this stuff is great and sounds like it's going to be a blast to play.
For any of our guitarist friends, does anybody remember when the tab book came out for DSoB in relation to the cd release? You got to think they will release a book for this release.
I am really stoked for this one!
Well,I am always really stole for the newest JB studio release.
But I think this one is going to be truly different from the sound of it.
Joe knocks it way,way out of the park with this one!!!! What a great honor and joy to be a fan of The World's Greatest ... JOE!!!

Was I imagining or did the legendary Steve Cropper drop by the studio in that vid?
Awesome!!
It was indeed 'The Colonel' - Love to know the story behind that ...
I met Cropper in a pub last year before a gig he was doing with The Animals. A real gentleman and a true icon with more stories than any man alive. (Most poignant was a sad tale regarding Otis Redding's 'Dock of the Bay'). He still plays his battered Peavey and is amongst the top half dozen most important players ever.
This album is going to be epic - I wonder what the stage make up will be for these songs when he tours them.
I am now going to play my Mountain Climbing album
That was pretty awesome, I'm looking very forward to the release of the new album and seeing him perform his new material in a few months.
Thanks for sharing the link!!
Climb the mountain and then we all get the e ticket ride down the road. Loving this stuff.
Rick
Loving the sound from this.
By the way, Joe, if you ever decide to make a video for the train songs I think I know where I can hook you up with some steam engines.

The early records are the most boring ones.

You're kidding right? Well maybe not we each have our personal faves and that's cool too.
To this day my favorite Joe CD is A New Day Yesterday 'Studio' version. Unmatched in guitar pyrotechnics and sheer weight of his sound as far as I can tell. I'd bet he couldn't even play that way anymore. But as so many others have already stated I am so looking forward to this new heavy duty blues CD. I also have been waiting for the power trio to return as well.
Is there going to be a version of this CD with Bonus Tracks?

The link does not work.
Well, it did yesterday, but here is a new one: http://shop.jbonamassa.com/collections/ … eased-2016
That the music will be freakin' awesome is a given. It's Joe! What this coffee-hound wants to know is, will there be a special package that includes a coffee mug?
