Topic: Annual Joe Christmas Song for 2015?

Once November rolls around I start wondering what the Christmas song for this year will be??
It's on my wish list, hope Joe & Co. have the time to fit one in cool

And one of these upcoming years there will be enough songs to make a Joe Christmas CD wink

P.S. At the theater where I work they asked me if Joe ever did a Christmas show......brainstorming I guess about a mixture of his regular set with a dash of holiday cheer thrown in.....I can see those snowflakes falling from the stage ceiling now...it wouldn't be the first time Joe played with a Christmas tree onstage wink He found one in the parking lot with presents underneath at The Surf Ballroom once upon a time and it made it's way onto the stage for the show wink
P.S.P.S. And it was Joe also carrying it onto the bus saying, "It will be up to me to keep this watered and alive."  cool

The email I got directed me to a promo page for the free song (see link below), but you can only get the song download if you have Facebook. I am hopeful that other ways to get it will come along eventually, for Joe's fans who don't have FB (like me)...

I don't have Facebook & have no intention of ever getting it. There has to be a way for us non Facebook fans to get it.

seems like Joe recorded them in one go. all Christmas songs. Arlan is there again.
Maybe one day we get a Christmas Album.

Yeah, I saw Arlan Schierbaum playing keyboards in the video as well, but with Michael Rhodes on bass.  It had me wondering when this was recorded.  Was this recent, or was it recorded a while back?

I would bet pretty good money they were done in 2013 when Arlan was playing a lot with Joe. Wonder how many of these Christmas songs were recorded? It's like there is a little vault full of Christmas tunes that slowly get dolled out smile

Oh, what a tasty little tune! I must admit to having never listened to one of Joe’s Christmas songs because I prefer the traditional carols but I love this!

my thoughts exactly, very tasty......and he says, or used to say that he doesn't play slide all that well. yeah, right, quite decent in the Texas blues mode if you ask me.
