Topic: Joe still feeling under the weather

Talked to Tamara at J&R Adventures yesterday, she told me Joe still having sinus problems since returning from Europe.  Joe has canceled the meet and greets for Friday and Saturday shows, in Clearwater, Fla.  The shows are still on.

The only thing we deserve, is an opportunity.  Everything else has to be earned.

Re: Joe still feeling under the weather

It's too bad Joe's not feeling well. Poor guy. This Fall tour has been quite long. No doubt he could really use some rest and relaxation. Only 2 more shows left. Hope he feels better soon. He works too hard, geeze it's not too much longer before he appears at Warren Haynes Christmas Jam and then who knows what else he has planned. Take care of yourself Joe, you're not Superman you know...or are you wink

Re: Joe still feeling under the weather

At the meet and greet in New Orleans you could tell that he wasn't 100 percent.  He had a bit of a runny nose and mentioned his allergies...

All the more reasoni was stunned when he took the stage! He was a beast with a six stringed axe!!!

Are you coming for the Christmas Jam Natasha?  My dream lineup of guitarists COULD all play together, Joe Warren and Jorma!  Almost too good to be true, hope Joe feels better by next Saturday.

Yeah, we'll be at the Christmas Jam. Not looking forward to the long 6 hour drive, but it'll be great to see Joe playing with Warren and it's been years since we saw electric Hot Tuna.

Does anyone have any more info about why Warren has cancelled his west coast shows? They have said it's a family problem but not specific about who's family. Hope it doesn't effect the Christmas show.

That's why God put cameras inside cell phones!  Click away! smile. I've actually video taped entire concerts and transferred them to dvd.

I just read that on Facebook,  his cold and sinus issues must be worse than we know. He has graciously donated a signature guitar and two meet and greet passes/tickets to be raffled off in his absence for charity, I'm sure it will bring way more than asking for a good cause and is such a classy move from a great guy.

Always a class act. He gets sick this time of year often it seems. I can relate. I've had that sinus infection and cough hanging tough for weeks.

His Twitter post says: "I need to tend to a medical issue"

that's more than just a sinus infection to me..

Re: Joe still feeling under the weather

Joe seemed in good spirits last night.  He was laughing and joking with the other guys in the band and at one point someone off stage.  It was the last show of this 9 week tour and I'm sure they are all looking for some time off.  His playing, singing and energy were off the charts as usual.  By the way, it was nice to see Roy at the show.
