just a coincidence that Black Friday happened to collide with what would have been his 73rd birthday. I know it's not high end, but what I could afford to give my son this year for Xmas, and no better time to buy it than on this day. I got a really good deal from GC, very happy with the discount. It is lightweight, easy to play for even my arthritic hands, and sound is excellent through a fairly cheap amp. The two piece flame top is a lot prettier than this one. Not expensive, real happy with his selection versus others he looked at.

Congrats!  I played one of those at a shop a couple years ago and it was a pretty nice guitar.

I'm picking up my Les Paul less and less these days due to the weight, I think a semi-hollow is in my future at some point.
