Topic: Warren Haynes

I know Warren has plenty of fans here in Bonamassaville not only because of his solo efforts but also because of his fine work with Gov't Mule and the Allman Brothers. Warren has a new acoustic album out that is really good. It is the Weekly Music Recommendation on my blog this week (link to that is in my signature), and you can check out the Amazon page and listen to excerpts here: http://www.amazon.com/Ashes-Deluxe-Edit … 95441011_5

Highly recommended!

Re: Warren Haynes

I'm going to second Coachs opinion.  I was pleased to find it on Apple music, so I streamed it thinking it would be "ok, but not really my thing".  By the end of the second time through the album, I switched over to the iTunes store and bought it.  It's that good.  Warren and Grace Potters version of Gold Dust Woman rivals Fleetwood Mac's IMO.

Re: Warren Haynes

I will check it out.  Thanks for the tip Coach!

Re: Warren Haynes

Warren has switched gears and gone Folk ... electric Folk. I liked it the first time I listened to it and like it more with every listening.

Re: Warren Haynes

a few years ago (2011) when Warren was touring the Warren Haynes Band album, he came out and did a acoustic second set, - normally the slot for heading off to the bar... I was gobsmacked and the the audience stunned, stood in respect hanging on his every word, well except one idiot that thought that he good sing! Warren is special, very special.

Re: Warren Haynes

a TV PSA - Warren will be sitting in with The Roots tonight (Monday, Oct 5,  2015) on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

(Guess the electrical panel has cooled down enough since Joe's sit in.)

Re: Warren Haynes

I just received this email regarding a concert I was going to attend tomorrow night in Denver.  My thoughts and prayers go out to Warren & his band.  I'll update this post if I find out additional details.

Due to a family emergency, Warren Haynes and The Ashes & Dust Band have had to cancel their upcoming West Coast tour dates, including the Ogden Theatre show on November 28th. Refunds will be available at point of purchase, and we hope to reschedule the shows soon.

So sad to hear...I was looking forward to next Friday in SF to see him and the Ashes and Dust Band....wishing him the best and hoping for the situation to be remedied quickly...

Re: Warren Haynes

Prayers go out to Warren, his band and their families.  Special people like Warren, bring so much joy to so many people, we pray for better days.  Hope this does not effect the Christmas show, I know it is very important to Warren and does so much good.
