Topic: Here is an out-of-the-box thought!!

Here is an idea.
What if when Joe releases an album, he does an extended version at a higher price that includes backing tracks minus the guitar solos. That way those of us who want to figure out his awesome solos can do it with a full backing track.
I don’t know about you guys, but my experience with the backing tracks available online is pretty much hit or miss. Mostly miss.
The higher price would replace the free Bona Jam Tracks, give the band members an additional revenue stream and give the end users a high quality resource.
It seems Like a win-win for everyone involved.
What do you guys think?
Do you love the idea or not?

Let your fingers fly like lightning unleashed…
Make your notes scream with the unbridled passion of a soul on fire…
And boogie like the Thunder of the Gods!”  LP 1974

Re: Here is an out-of-the-box thought!!

Shoot if we could have ever album with the guitar tracks removed, I would pay good money for them. I'd pay full album price for each one. This is even after buying each album on cd and working on getting a vinyl copy of everyone.

Guitars: Gibson 2015 LP Traditional in Honeyburst, Gibson LP Studio Deluxe, Fender American Deluxe Telecaster, MIM Fender Strat with Dimarzio Areas, MIM Fender Hss Strat,  Epiphone Sheraton II, Breedlove Acoustic
Amplitube 4 with Scarlett 6i6 and 2i4 interfaces through studio monitors.

I'd buy for sure.

Snap also.

Come on the Blades (sorry Idolbone just had to borrow your line)

Steve Vai released tons of "Naked Tracks" which just have the major guitar parts removed.  They're very cool.
