this was the email I got...
Tonight's Joe Bonamassa show has been post-poned due to illness. The show has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 20th. All tickets bought for the original date will be honored or may be refunded at their point of purchase by November 20th. We apologize for any inconvenience, wish Mr. Bonamassa a speedy recovery, and look forward to seeing all of you at the new date.

JOE, you're human after all! Not even Superman could travel the world like you do without some down time. Now, chicken soup, herb tea with honey and REST!!!!! Nurse Cathy (Sorry for all who won't get there show until later....but you want him at his best!! Come on down to Baltimore for the 14th...there's still tickets!)

By his own admission, Joe was never himself since they returned from Moscow. Joe said that he continued to get worse through Saturday. (See Joe's post in response to a Staten Island show review.) On Sunday he said he felt better and had the day off Monday to further recuperate, but as has been said, even Superman has limits. I "lived the life" for a whopping four days, and I'm not physically right yet. I truly can't imagine how Joe put on the shows he did feeling as badly as he did. The fact that Joe cancelled a show tells me that he must be physically unable to perform.
Joe, please get yourself checked out to make sure you don't have some kind of upper respiratory infection that needs some antibiotics. Find the nearest Jewish deli and get some real chicken soup. Try to get some rest and know that we're all sending our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

YEAH I WAS BUMMED GETTING THROUGH THE WORK DAY AND FINDING OUT THE SHOW WAS CANCELED. BUT WHAT WAS REALLY COOL WAS WHEN MY PHONE RANG (oh crap what does citi bank want now?!) SURPRISE!!!! IT WAS LUPO'S HEARTBREAK CALLING DIRECTLY TO TELL ME SHOW WAS CANCELED AND THE DATE FOR RESCHEDULED SHOW! PRETTY CLASSY OF THEM. HOPE YOU START FEELING BETTER AND SEE YOU SAT NIGHT. IF YOU'RE AT 50% THAT'S FINE,JUST DON'T RUN YOURSELF INTO THE GROUND. (too late huh?)
