Topic: Our servers are down due to excessive usage of server resources

Like I said a month ago.....popularity carries a price.....

But, if a V-6 can't carry the load, then you need to buy a V-8.....

Sorry if I stepped on any toes, but don't tease me, and those that I got hooked.....and then drop the ball.....

I realize I'm not makin' a lot of friends with this post.....but the friends that I've made by speaking my mind are lifelong......

It's okay bro. If the servers go down, that does mean that his popularity and hits to the web site are skyrocketing. The servers went down on the Ahmet tribute site when they did the lottery for the Zeppelin tickets as well. All is well.

SRV, I feel your pain! I check periodically, as I'm sure many of the faithful here do.
That said, I am sure that the people attending to this are doing everything in their power to correct the problem.

I'm sure the powers that be are working on it.  Just remember that bandwidth and servers aren't free and the bills have to be paid.

That's what I'm thinkin.......and when you have a substantial world wide audience, and you are streaming high quality video/audio, you can probably burn up a ton of bandwidth in a short period of time. Some providers might not actually be able to handle it and if that's the case tough decisions would have to be made.

Pure speculation on my part, but it's not as easy as just "fixing" it.

Phil, just Just fixing "it" itself is never easy, when you know what "it" is, let alone finding out what "it" actually is sometimes. Servers can run into myriad of problems, they are always susceptible to what they call "cross-platform" vulnerabilities...in cyberspace developers and administrators are your police and fire departments, so maybe you'll have to wait for repsonse.  Your cat will come down from the tree eventually, trust me...But remember, they are there on the job (can't just be fans), and we sometimes take things for granted .  My saying always applies!!!  Rock On & Keep the Faith,

i think its good to have videos here, if it works out, because then i think there is a better chance that people will check out the tour schedule, store, etc.
