Topic: Inspire artists / Abbey stJohn band
Thanks for listening to my story in advance. My name is Alvin "Abbey" Brazley. I've been doing this a long time and still can’t catch a break, now that I’ve learned enough lessons and finally finished the project. I now have a solid album (or 3) "in the can'. The best of 100+ published songs (ASCAP, HFA, NMPA) and its ready for promotion & distribution. People just love it! But without a "vehicle", in today's world, the body of work I've mastered over a life time is better left as personal best, than another tree falling in the woods without a sound. I live in Maui now and were very mobile (via L.A. & born in Chicago) because I figured its better now to have "quality of life" than rust in the rat race. If anyone is interested my website is up and running and the band is ready to "work" with notice. My mentor and collaborator since we were teenagers is Guitarist Syl Harris of Chicago (Buddy Guy band-Lonnie Brooks band) and long time friend Chrs Squire "Yes" (sadly just passed away) are both featured, among 2 top Hawaii producers. I did most everything else. My indie releases & legendary producer Eddy Offord (Yes-King Crimson) taught me continuity & recording skills some time ago, while years in my own 2-inch /protools studio in Maui gave me time to make "blues influenced hard rock records" I always envisioned, buddy since 85 Chris Squire gave me the validation that I haven’t wasted my whole life on these fine songs. See what I mean if you want to. Listen free at abbeystjohn.com All the best Alvin Brazley (Soliciting or spam will be reported.)
