Hey Joe,
Just watchin' more coverage of the fires in the southland and I'm hopin' and prayin' your pad isn't in any danger. Weigh in when you get a chance and let us know if all is well. When I saw homes burnin' all the way down to the beach in Malibu I had to wonder. Hope all is well.

I'm so worried about everyone over there...you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Rule of thumb:
Build House in California on Coast...In event of Wildfires, landslides, or earthquakes, you will have at least one piece of wood left for a surfboard!
OK, before you take me on for being too flippant, it's bad there, very bad, I am very worried-friends and family and self have been through ALL of this and those others before but not this bad (Although I went unconscious from smoke inhalation once) ...Californians avoid saying hello to each other most of the time until disaster comes and then they stick together like SUPERGLUE! Stick it out, stick with it, and stick together!!! Everyone out there be safe and we are greatly concerned in remotely removed locales about you.

my thoughts and prayers go out to the west coast.
I just called my cousin in Newport Beach - so far fires haven't reached there but she said
they're close and she may have to board some horses for people in trouble.
We're all thinking of everyone out west there.

This reminds me of the Florida Fire Storms of 1998. It's a horrible feeling. Very smoky and very scarey.
My thoughts and prayers are with all the residents, businesses and wildlife of Southern Cal.

They even show it on the german news every day ... I immediately thought of Joe and Lea - I´m glad to hear that everything is fine !
Hope they´ll be able to stop that fire soon ... let´s pray for some rain ....

Hay man as I said in my email earlier today J Dawg I'm on my way down south right now to pick up my sister and her two kids (outside of Tracy ca right now) still hope to be back in time to see the show tomorrow night lets hope the main thing is she ok she still has no idea if her house is still standing real drag

Wind AND fire..Bad combo for sure...it's so destructive! I live amidst acres of trees. To see how quickly it burns is scary! At least it seems like support services are on site. It looks like the weather is finally going to give them a break. My best to all affected. Cathy
