You can only post links to photos - not the actual photos - no matter how many posts you have made.

I guess the lack of photo's to embed keeps the forum server foot print lighter than forums that allow pictures to be embedded into posts.

too bad though.. I prefer seeing the pictures than going to the link

- the software running the forum is years out of date, - if it were something a bit better or more up-to-date you could hyperlink to photos using simple html code, so there would be no need to host them on the JB server, just link to them,but they would still be visible within a forum thread.

Unfortunately development went off on a tangent a few years ago, spending time and money on something closer to social media, but that failed sad

Forums if run properly are still extremely popular, (look at what mumsnet have achieved) but whoever is in charge of this one sadly misses a lot of tricks (sorry to be blunt), the biggest error being that when you click on any link within a thread you exit this JB forum rather than it opening up in a new page tab, - we have had tabbed browsing for years now...... Needs sorting IMO, - clear to see that user numbers have fallen dramatically over recent times.
