Topic: The Volker Strifler Band made it to the pre-final voting for Grammy's

CONGRATULATIONS!!

The Volker Strifler Band has made it to the pre-final voting for the
Grammy's! This means out of MILLIONS and MILLIONS of song and CD
submissions you've made it down to the top 200-600 depending on the
category AND in six of the eight categories submitted!

Ballots have gone out to the voting membership and each member is
directed to vote within their area of expertise but all can vote in
the top four categories which you are in!!! With a strong word of
mouth campaign voting members will find the songs on the website and
listen instead of just voting for their favorites. So I need your
help in creating buzz by telling/emailing/blogging any and everyone
you know that you've made it into the categories below. The only song
that will not be determined by the membership is Constantine, it will
go in front of special committees in each Chapter throughout the US.

I will be happy for the designation of Grammy Nominee which happens if
the band makes it into the next round of votes. You will have to tie
string to my toes to keep me on the ground if you get an invitation!!

Below are the categories and songs! BEST OF LUCK YOU GUYS!!!

Record of the year: Somebody Help Me AND Soul Salvation

Album of the year: The Dance Goes On

Song of the year: On a Day Like Today

Best New Artist: Volker Strifler

Traditional Blues: VSB

Composing & Arrangement: Constantine

Re: The Volker Strifler Band made it to the pre-final voting for Grammy's

I've had a real good feelin' that these guys won't be a secret much longer. I got this news yesterday from Volker's bass player Don Bassey who was like a proud father the way he was beaming as he told me all about it. Apparently the next step in the process is to try and contact as many of the people who have votes as possible to sway their vote your way. Don't miss Volker if they come your way. They don't tour nationally on a regular basis and we in the Bay Area are lucky they gig here at home pretty steadily. Like I said they will be in bigger demand in the near future.
