this trivia game might not seem like reason enough but it does go to show how important it is when we post our reviews etc. This is one of the best Bonamomentus references around

First of all, I think I got the right answer to the following question, but I'm not 100% positive. Here goes:

We all know that Joe is the owner of a number of original '59 Gibson Les Paul "Bursts". My question is;

In what city did Joe first play one of his OWN (a guitar he owned at the time, not borrowed) original '59 "Bursts" on stage during one of his shows?

Bonus question; What song did he play?

Somebody needs to at least guess...

Place:
Sioux Falls, South Dakota, March (date?) 2011?

Song:"So, It's Like That?"

We have a winner! Sorry for the delay - up at the lake for the long weekend. Rocket got it, and I have no doubt Jane will be contributing a question sooner rather then later.

Your turn Rocket!

OK trivia bluffs, here we go!  This question is restricted to those of Titanium or lower status, no Bonametals or above, please.

Algebra style word/math problem yikes :

If "A" is equivalent to number 1, and "X" is equal to the number 26;
What number represents the middle initial of Joe?! hmm

Okay, here is the next question. Many of us have seen the picture of Joe as a toddler holding his first guitar, the short scale "Chiquita", What was Joe's first full sized guitar?

Correct! Joe got the Chiquita when he was four, and got an SG when he was six. I find that incredible, he was on his second guitar at just six years old!

if x is 26 is L really 12?

I noticed that too, if A = 1 then X can not be 26 so I focused on A =1 and figured that the other was an unintentional error. X = 24, Z = 26.

Well .. kinda "correctly" ... I was looking for the Imprint (division / subsidiary) of Sony / Epic that they released Jazz / Blues artists on during this time.  (The label name was prominent on the cd.)   (I had a feeling my question may be a bit confusing.)

Maybe Jane will chime in ... and you both come up with the next question.  With two Charter members working together!! ... I'll need an abacus and slide rule for sure to try and answer!!

Related ... I've read an article where Roy said Sony dropped Joe "on the eve" of ANDY's release.  Guess their sights at the time were on the long-range future of the Walkman!!

PS:  Was hoping Uncle Sam on his Rocket was going to make an avatar appearance for the 4th of July Weekend ... it's been two years I believe!!

I've ruined the game I know!! ... but no, this label name was printed on ... and took up half of the disc surface ... and was the biggest printed of the three Sony divisions printed small on back side of jewel insert.

Honors should go to you, Jane.  But since you passed the torch... I'm not sure if this is a really easy question or a really hard one (but it should be good for anyone that doesn't already know the answer):

Who was the original lead singer in Bloodline?  And where does his bloodline originate?
