Saw Gary Hoey for the first time last night in Annapolis at the Rams Head. Huge thank you to our dear friend, Ron for inviting us to come hang with him and Gary before and after the show. Gary put on an awesome show and not only is he a fantastic musician, he has an incredible sense of humor. He could seriously be a stand up comedian. The crowd loved him and roared in approval and even though there were probably only about 150 in attendance, Gary exclaimed, "Wow! It sounds like 3,000 people out there!" After the show, even the doorman who works at the Rams Head came over and congratulated Gary on his show. He talked about how tight the band was and how much he enjoyed the show. He was like, "I hear a lot of acts, and your show really made my job enjoyable tonight" Thought that was pretty cool. So a great night all around, hanging out with a dear friend, hearing great music and enjoying plenty of laughter.

Thanks for these. I love Gary. He flys under the radar and I don't know why. He has the coolest guitar too.

Lucky our Ron is hanging with him this summer. cool job if you can get it.  Hope your videos get him some more notice. He deserves it.

Glad you all enjoy them. I was at the back of the venue and stood so as to try and get over the tops of people's heads. It also provided a better angle and sound than if I had been up front. Before the show I mentioned to Gary that the Rams Head has horrible blue lights it always uses and that the videos would be so much better if they could turn up some white lights. He went and talked with them, told them he needed the lights a bit brighter because he wears certain glasses and couldn't see his set list very well, lol. It made an improvement to the videos. Now at least his top half looked pretty normal. Just blue from the waist down smile Thought that was really cool he went and spoke with them. Wish I could have that happen at every venue I film at.

Well last night of the tour. All finished up we head home tomorrow. This run Gary and the guys standing ovations every night. There shows are soooo much fun. Gary is truely one of the best guitarist around. Pass the word come see Gary when he is near your area.
Phil Natasha I am always thrilled to hang with you guys and I hope to see you again soon.
Gary mentioned several times today how he loved to meet you guys and hopes he gets to link up again at future shows.

We went to see Gary on Friday.  20 years of Ho Ho Hoey.  My wife LOVED it!  Gary is such a treat to see.  He's great with the crowd and plays his butt off.  Best show we've seen this year for sure.
