Johnny Lang & Kenny Wayne Sheperd Tour - Lousiville, KY

Sunday night a friend and I saw Johnny Lang and Kenny Wayne Sheperd at the Kentucky Center in Louisville.  One of the best shows I have seen.  Johnny Lang opened the show and was great.  He and his band had exceptional vocals and there was lots of smokin' guitar.  My friend and I both said we would hate to have to follow him after his set was over.  Well, Kenny Wayne Sheperd stepped out and blew the roof off the place.  Noah Hunt's vocals were great and Chris Layton played drums.  Kenney Wayne was absolutely phenomenal.  I knew he was good but I did not know he was that good.  He is much better live than on his albums.  His guitar tone was incredible.  His low E string sounded like a piano.  Don't ever miss a chance to see these guys. And, it only cost $50 per ticket for the show.  You can't usually see one good artist for that amount anymore.  Kentucky Theater was very nice.  Not a bad seat in the house.
