Very excited to see that the new RCFP album "Groove Is King" will be coming out soon. Presale for it starts June 26th and the album is due out the end of July. This is going to be a good one. Tal has been working a long time on getting it just the way he wants it. Horns have been added to the mix and it features a cast very fine musicians. It's also got a pretty cool album cover design as well. Can't wait to hear it all!

Oh my! Well Jane if you didn't like the cover, you sure aren't going to like the official video for one of the new songs "Don't Be Stingy With The SMPTE". Have to admit I pretty much cracked up laughing when I watched it. Sure can't say Joe doesn't try new things, lol. This is about as far away from the blues as one can get 
Can't wait to hear it what it sounds like live. And very curious what SMPTE stands for. Okay, get ready, here it comes

Edit: I think they are going to have to clear the tables and chairs at the Baked Potato because this is dancing music! Tal had told us a while ago that people aren't going to be able to sit still with this new album. He's really hoping to attract a younger crowd with it's dance vibes. Now I can understand why
