Topic: meet and greet for New Orleans show?

Hi
Today I purchased through tixketmaster at my local Walmart 1 ticket to see Joe on Tuesday november 24 in New Orleans.  I called ticketmaster and they said there are no vip meet and greets for this show. Is this true?  If not how do I purchase one?  I have one of his guitars that is love for him to sign!

Sincerely
Brian Holmes

Ps.  I've been to other meet and greets before but am a tota newbie as far as joes meet and greets work!

Meet & Greet is by Litho purchase, which comes with two tickets to the show of your choice and two meet and greet passes. Click on the link below for more details

Re: meet and greet for New Orleans show?

There are other ways than just buying a Litho to make a meet and greet.
many of them are via local media contests

some select few Street Team members can also make a meet and greet if they've show a commitment to promote Joe's shows too.

(If only I had 1% of Joe's guitar talent)

Looks like they're all sold out.  I actually bought the tour de force Bluray set with the tshirt instead of the meet and greets not thinking he be coming to New Orleans.  I just bought the set earlier this year!  My goose is cooked!  I have his autograph on a Pickguard and also an 8x10.  I was just hoping to say hi and get a picture with him.  I play guitar as well.  He is truly phenomenal!

The Lithographs usually sell out in about two days, I think they've been putting out at least two a year. I've bought two. Joe signed my JB Goldtop Les Paul (my avatar) last year. If you sign up, you'll get email when litho's are released.

Re: meet and greet for New Orleans show?

If there is a PBS promotion going on during that time you can purchase a package through your local station. If there is there is little opportunity to obtain one through the Street Team which is the other possible avenue. Visit the Street Team page and there is a sticky that outlines the process. Good Luck.

Re: meet and greet for New Orleans show?

Thanks for the info!  I did just that!  Fingers crossed!

I just acquired "Carmelita" and it is stunning and have a JB Goldtop coming this Thursday. Where did he sign yours?
I am wanting a large autograph on the body for maximum punch,  since I don't play it won't matter.  It's going to hang next to the litho.

I had Joe sign my Goldtop on the back of the headstock, its very common to to have them signed this way. I have mixed feelings about a Goldtop that wont get played, but it sure will look good hanging next to the litho. My Goldtop hangs on my bedroom wall where I can wake up each morning and see it.

Very cool! I have a coupleof guitars signed by KISS and Shinedown.  That was a hard decision too, sign the front or the back.  I also like to get the artist to personalize it to me that way I can prove I've actually met him.  I never sell my autographs on eBay.  I figure, I busted my tail for this opportunity, and to me that's priceless!

I realize  this, believe me. It is a used JB edition so it has been played but now it will be my own personal museum piece and will complement the litho. When I realized I was meeting Joe I began wondering what to bring for him to sign, I couldn't just show up with a magazine or an 8X10, it had to be special, and what could be more perfect than a guitar?
I liken this to a classic car that never gets driven and is simply admired.

Litho's aren't available but you can buy the Tour de Force box set with Meet and Greet here. http://shop.jbonamassa.com/products/tdf-dlxe you already have your ticket which is good since you know where you are sitting the only bad thing about buying the package is you don't know where your tickets are till the day of show. You could always give them to a friend. or sit in them if they are better than what you bought already.

Do you think it's too late to buy the box set and use the tix and passes or do I still have time for the new orleans show in November?
