Topic: Can't wait for Joe to come to New Orleans!

Hello all,
I guess I'm still a newbie when it comes to the JB experience.  I'm a guitar player, so I've heard Joe's name kicked around over the years, but it wasn't until this past December that he changed my outlook on the guitar and the music business in general.
I now own both his gold top epiphone as well as the Pelham blue, and almost every Bluray he's released including the tour de force Marshall amp set, which I'm watching as I write this!
It was by chance that I was looking for lyrics to one of his songs yesterday and I found out he's coming to my home town!  I flew to the bank and then ticketmaster at Walmart of all places and landed one ticket on the floor orchestra center stage 10 rows back from the stage!  I cannot wait!
If anyone has any tips to make my solo trip to the Saenger theatre any better please chime in!

Sincerely
Brian

Get there in plenty of time to take your seat and warn the crew hanging in the lobby. Joe ALWAYS starts exactly on time and there will not be a warm up act. If the show starts at 8, when the second hand sweeps past the 12, the first note is played.

Thanks for the info!  I was wondering if he was going to have an open up act or not.  It's funny.. I'm a guitarist and I actually enjoy watching the roadies set up the equipment.  It's amazing how fast they set sound lights and props so fast and then load out and be out of the building totally by 2-3 hours later!

Brian..
RickB didn't mean warn the roadie crew in the lobby.. he meant warn any one just standing around in the lobby that Joe starts right on time.

I don't know how many posts I've see over the years here on the forum about ..
"Waaa we got there for 8:45 thinking there was an opening act and waaa we missed half the show... waaa..

don't be one of those..
make sure you're in your seat(s) at least 20min before the show starts. also you can walk up to the edge of the stage and take some pic's of the gear before the show as well.
Cheers
