Topic: NBA Playoffs

The ratings on the series are incredible.....can King James and his group of no names ( not my words) beat the best team in the world this year?......Cleveland is up 2-1, but I feel tonight it all changes, the splash brothers and crew will open up the game with a 50 point quarter....what do yall think??

Re: NBA Playoffs

I think LBJ can beat anyone on any day. He'll carry the series on his back and Cavs take it in 7. Warriors looked out of gas last night.

Re: NBA Playoffs

If I were a betting man I would put a hefty amount on GS. The line started at Cavs -2 and has ended up at Cavs +3. That is a monster swing in less than two days, especially for a finals game. Warriors get it done tonight, maybe by 10 or more.

Re: NBA Playoffs

I'm totally a fairweather NBA fan - I don't watch much during the season, but usually I start to follow in the playoffs.

I have no idea why, but for some reason I'm rooting for the Cavs.  Still think GS will win, but it's an exciting start to the series!

I don't care who wins, as long as LeBron loses.

The Warriors have finally worn down the Cavs, time to finsh off the series.

That's how its lookin' Shreddy. Loved how Kerr pulled a fast one on the media and said nothing would change with the line-up Thur. If anybody has a problem with that, well TFB. Iguadola was the game changer and goes to prove the Warriors motto, Strength In Numbers. These guys are all important parts and role players up and down the bench. I love the Browns and the Tribe, but there was no NBA team in Cleveland when I lived there as a kid. Been a Dubs fan for 50 years and have waited 40 years for this moment.

Re: NBA Playoffs

I don't really care who wins the series, but would like to see the Cavs force a game 7. I know that GS would like to get it done in 6, don't count the Cavs out just yet. I expect it to be fairly close but the early betting says otherwise. It opened at Cavs -3 and has quickly moved to GS -4 1/2.....not a bigee, only a 7 1/2 point swing. I saw where Curry WAS on pace to have the worst performance ever by an MVP in the finals. Well, he shot that down last night.....now let's see if he can do it again in game 6.

Re: NBA Playoffs

The fat lady is clearing her throat.....LBJ will win the MVP of the series but the Andre would have a shot if had scored a little more, I had no idea he was that good....Cleveland can stand tall, nothing to be ashamed about

Look real close tomorrow night in Cleveland and you might see some Cav fans wearing LeBron jerseys that look like they were set on fire once......how soon they forget!

Re: NBA Playoffs

How soon they forget...SO TRUE!!! In all walks of life it seems.

Missed the last game but have been following. The first 2 games were the most exciting NBA games I can remember in a long time. Not sure if LeBron can carry his team all the way...

How funny is it that LeBron and Curry are both from Akron, Ohio, home to also The Black Keys. My son was up in New York for work last week, which included a backstage pass to The Black Keys-he informed the guys of the score at the end of the show. http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Wa … 39411.html

Re: NBA Playoffs

Basketball is a team sport. The Warriors were the better "Team". End of story. Sorry LeBron.

Re: NBA Playoffs

and LeBron was on the best team in the east, better than my Hawks who turned in a very decent year. Just remember that the Cavs took them to 6 games without Irving and Love.....could have been a different story if they were healthy. Congrats to GS.

Re: NBA Playoffs

Congrats to the Warriors!  As a long time (but totally fairweather) Bulls fan, I'm mostly happy for Steve Kerr.   Always good to see a team that hasn't won it in a long time go all the way.  Good series, and the better team definitely won.  Would've definitely been interesting w/ Irving & Love, I'm sure that will be debated the entire off-season. ;-)

Re: NBA Playoffs

Well so much for game 7, would have made for a great series......Lebron is a diva, I lost all respect when he left the Cavs the first time... and far as him claiming to be " the best player in the world " thats for others to say about you

Re: NBA Playoffs

The NBA Champs are playing out of their collective minds as if the Playoffs started opening night! 12-0 is a damn nice start!
