I totally understand your inability to express in the written word! I'm still reeling from the 5 shows I recently witnessed; each one better than the last!

I agree 100%. I've seen Joe at the Paramount several times and this was by far his best. I can't wait until tomorrow to see him again.
So lucky! Any of you that are going multiple times. Feeling sorry for myself, I just went outside to pull weeds...
Set started with Hey Baby/Oh Beautiful... I love the dynamics of that song. Every single song, so great! I was trying to think of standouts, and they all stand out. Every one. Having gone to some shows over the years, it's fun to listen to others in the audience. I heard one lady say, "oh $h*t he's playing Sloe Gin"
Something that was cool about the section I was in (Center Aisle seat, Row L) was the animated and appreciative fans. Many standing and cheering after each song, when band members were introduced (especially Reese) and the BEST part of all - continued standing for the encore!!! Yes! As it should be. Standing and rocking out!
A couple peeps left for the encore, as some do to beat traffic or crowds, and there were a few empty seats in two rows ahead of me. Two guys came running down the aisle and stood there rocking out with us fans and I realized, Hey! It's Roy! How cool is that?!? Don't know who the other guy was.
It was one of those concerts you never want to end. Over two hours of quality music. And it's fun to see the band enjoying themselves too.
I don't need to tell you guys about the solos...you all know. To pull off perfection like that. Thank you Joe, for all that you do. Really, the best concert I have ever been to.
P.S. Cool to see Joe on MSNBC today, talking about BB with the space needle pic in the background.
(edited to correct opening song)
May 16 was the final show, and a great one - +1 to KatClark's comments on the Thursday show. Excellent energy from Joe and the band, even at the end of a 50 date tour, and Joe's playing and singing were just amazing. It was overall a more rocking set than some of his past tours, though no complaints from me (or anyone else I know). Setlist was the same as the other recent shows, except that for the encore Joe preceded "All Night Boogie" with a smokin' hot "Thrill Is Gone" dedicated to BB.
Lots of songs we would have liked to hear - Mountain Time chief among them - but you can only fit so much into a 2:15 show. And Joe and this band fit more into 2:15 than you could believe if you haven't been there and seen and heard for yourself.
Five stars.
To Joe, band and crew: thanks again for the incredible music, hope you all enjoy some well-deserved R&R.

Fantastic review! I love this - "He's who is is."
Finally, a review that puts words together in a way that captures how all of us feel.

I Would so enjoy having a meal with part of the J & R Crew. Especially Roy.
A Brilliant Visionary, to team up with young gun slinger from Utica.
Thank You Roy!!
Saturday Night at The Paramount was in my top shelf of Concerts.
The fans were well behaveded where I was anyway.
How the Hell does Joe have enough Inspiration and Energy to put on a Rock & Roll Blues Show, stripped down to tube amps.
Missed seeing Lenny, but the entire band seemed surprised they did not get off stage for 2hr 25 mn latter.
Bravo for RR Hall of Famer, Rockin the Keys all night.
Great crowd
