I think it is because Seattle is a Joe Bonamassa hot spot. Last time through the show sold out in a few days and they could of sold two shows but hadn't planned on it. Joe likes the venue so instead of moving to a bigger room they are adding more shows. Evidently they can sell three.
I like that Joe is sticking to venues of a certain size and just doing multiple nights. Makes for a better show in my opinion. Stadium or arena shows lack intimacy in my humble opinion
Plus easier to do 3 shows in the land of Starbucks!Cafine rules!

I agree 100%
I think the Spring tour is showing a change for Joe's touring method. There are quite a few places that he is playing multiple shows. This undoubtedly causes less wear and tear on the crew and band than traveling to a different city every night. I had a feeling that this would start happening since his touring schedule is quite grueling. If they felt a city could handle two or three nights, might as well take advantage of that. Now if he would change up the setlist by even a song or two each of those nights, that would make seeing a two or three day run an added bonus
Joe loves the northwest...probably figured he could sell that many seats....I'd go, but I'm already attending both Portland and Eugene...
I did my part., 6 tickets for Thurs. & Sat. in Seattle and I don't have to travel to see Joe twice like his last NW tour.
Almost here! Can't wait! I've heard so many great things about this tour!
If Joe started playing multiple nights in Toronto Canada I know what my wife would say..
I know what my credit card would say too.
I have wondered if the Three Kings tour won't be a test for seeing how it goes doing 10,000 seat amphitheaters? I agree seeing him in a 2500 seat room is much preferred from a fans point of view, but how long can Joe keep up this pace. Playing multiple nights at one venue has to help, but Joe still has to go out there and preform. I have seen him a couple of times when the show I was at, was the last show of the fall tour and when he finished the last song he looked exhausted.

If the Ticketmaster VIP/Diamond/Platinum price model is successful for Joe, it should help keep him in the smaller venues.

Of course what I really would prefer is my backyard out by the pool. Probably won't happen.
