Topic: Eugene show and more...

Well, the Eugene show was just as excellent as the Portland show, with the same setlist his been playing the whole tour. It was nice, not having to listen to 2500 people wish him Happy Birthday between songs ! On the other hand, the sound wasn't quite as perfect at the Hult as it was at the Schnitzer...Just a little over modulated for this show, but everything was still balanced and it still sounded great.
This band and the horn section, especially, just make this show really special, and the fact that Joe is just laying down some incredible solos on this tour. Solos that stand out for me are "Look Over Yonder Walls", "One Less Cross to Bear",and "Love aint a Love Song"....Freaking out of the box , mouth wide open, giant smile on my face, solos....A-mazing  !!
Also found out some stuff from Joe at the meet and greet and more info from Bob and Tal...Looks like we are getting a new "Rock Candy Funk Party" in June or July...It being mixed now....and then I found out something that really blew me away....Apparently we have YET ANOTHER live dvd coming out from Joe in the near future....Apparently another one from the"Beacon" in Chicago...I asked Bob...So is this a dvd with this set from this tour? He paused, and then told me no...It has more originals...hmmmm...If anyone attended this show, I'd love to know what we can expect...It would be great to get a dvd from this tour with him doing the "Different Shades and Muddywolf stuff with the band and Reece. I guess we'll find out pretty soon !!
And lastly, I would like to thank Joe, again, for the awesome Oregon shows and by the way, having Daniel on percussion, another major positive, and thank Bob, Carmine, and Tal for always being so cool....Got a Tal drumstick in Eugene, so that was pretty neat...See ya later this year !...or probably more likely in 2016 sometime...You're the best Joe !! Thanks, again
