Re: Billboard Blues Chart, week of October 20, 2007

Wow. Both albums have been holding steady. You & Me has been in the top 15 for, what, two years now?

Anybody know how many copies each has sold?

I'm just saying.

Re: Billboard Blues Chart, week of October 20, 2007

Joe said last night in Raleigh, that Sloe Gin has been number 1 for the past 8 weeks, longest of any his previous records!!!

Music is good for the Soul...

Re: Billboard Blues Chart, week of October 20, 2007

I never come in the "front door" when I come to the forum. Yesterday I did, trying to get to the store and it's very cool..If you haven't seen it..it's the Billboard chart from wk#1 with "Sloe Gin" at the top and "You and Me" below (I forgot what #). I would still like to know how it's doing on the overall charts. Can someone find out? Thanks, Cathy

I do not know Cathy, where it is otherwise at this point.  But "You & Me" slipped one place to 14, so the website is off on that count, but I wouldn't count it as fading just yet... Sloe Gin.... Holding nicely!!!   Thanks Bluezman, I was just signing on to update the Billboard numbers.  Isn't SRV #2 & Omar & Jimmie #3??? Something looks transposed-not Joe Bonamassa though, #1 EIGHT WEEKS RUNNING.!!!!!!!!

Congratulations Joe, you have paid your dues long enough, it's your time now. And the next call you get from someone who wants to kiss your behind, but may have disrespected you in the past, put them on hold for.....................well a really long time wink

Re: Billboard Blues Chart, week of October 20, 2007

In Rockville last night, Joe thanks everyone who bought the "Sloe Gin" album which allowed him to be #1 in the blues charts for eight straight weeks, if I recall correctly.....he said that when you're #1, food tastes better, and he smiles more.  He's also not looking forward to being #2. smile
