Well, sometime today you should be crossing over into the state on the mighty superslab they call I-5. Always great to have you back in a state that really appreciates the Blues, and Portland, the home of the largest Blues festival this side of the Mississippi. Portland is about 90% sold and Eugene about 80%. Totally appropriate being in Portland on your birthday ! You will never find a better audience, and it looks like you are bringing the sun from Cali with ya...suppose to be around 80 degrees on Friday and Saturday for the Portland and Eugene shows...Can't wait to see Reece and that horn section.Actually more excited than ever before, even though this will be show 14 and 15 for the Murf ! Got a GREAT pinot noir for you...See ya on Saturday in Eugene...I'll be at the Schnitzer for the pdx show and doing final promo push for Hult Center in Eugene. Yes...and all Northwesterners...if you haven't got your tickets yet or you are on the fence about going, still some decent seats left in Portland and some really good ones for Eugene...Let's get these venues as full as we can for Joe !!!

I am loving the Muddywolf DVD too, Murfdog! I'll bet it's a beautiful day in Portland today! Enjoy the shows and report back ASAP! Wish I was doing my own mini-tour and seeing them all!
