Topic: Fox Theater Detroit

Great show last night. Good energy and Joe was playing and singing on fire. Only change i noticed from the setlists i've seen so far this tour was they didn't play Look Over Yonder Wall. Nice to end the day so well after both the Tigers and Red Wings got beat up pretty good earlier.

Re: Fox Theater Detroit

I was there up in the balcony. It was my first joe concert, definitely one of the coolest shows I've seen. The tweed setup he is using sounded amazing. Other than the cool guitar stuff the highlight for me was the horn section.

Re: Fox Theater Detroit

Joe complemented the FOX Theater as being one of the most gorgeous venues he's ever played. The FOX was kind of  looking pretty pristine last night. The show was awesome. All the new material, at least new to me was excellent. We couldn't make it to the Muddy/Wolf show or the cruise. The horns were a great addition to an already very tight band. It happened again last night. The concert just started and before you knew it it was over!!!

Had Reese rejoined the tour at that point??  Nothing vs McKendree, but we soooo missed my man Reese in Chicago last week!  Kudos to him and the rest of Double Trouble for the HoF induction.  SRV Forever!

As far as I could tell McKendree was on keys (Same keyboard player the was playing in Chicago per Natasha's videos). During the band intro about 5-6 people took a break from the show for what-ever reason. Our seats were second row Loge/balcony at the end of a row. I was a little distracted. I asked a few people around us, they didn't have a clue.

McKendree was on the keys in Detroit. He told me he would be playing 3 shows, two in Chicago and the one in Detroit.

Re: Fox Theater Detroit

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony was the nigt of the Detroit show, so Reese was not there.
