Topic: Grand Rapids

Great show. Nice venue. I think it worked better than an arena for this tour. Really good crowd for a Tuesday night. Acoustics were well balanced. Not muddy like the Canadians mentioned. Not sure if they made changes or the venue just had better equipment. In any case, a lot has been covered in Montreal and London which still applies.

Here are the songs I remember:

Oh Beautiful
Hidden Charms
Living on the Moon
Trouble Town
Double Trouble
I Gave Up Everything For You
Love Ain't a Love Song
So, What would I Do
Sloe Gin
John Henry

Encore:

All Aboard

Mostly all tracks from the latest releases and the two classics.

Re: Grand Rapids

love this set list.  Sure hope he keeps trouble town in.  Love that song tongue

Re: Grand Rapids

For my taste, absolutely the best Joe B show I've ever seen. Nobody works harder than Joe and the band.  I continue to be amazed at the energy these guys produce. The horns were a nice addition plus an amazing job was done on the keyboard.  Just glad to have been there to witness the best of the best.

Re: Grand Rapids

It was a great show!!... and sound was really clear and not bouncing even when Joe played loud. Just a high energy performance and a crowd that appreciated it. Joe broke out is some smiles from the crowds reactions, which was great to see. This was our third time seeing Joe this year, and although I miss the acoustic set, this was probably my favorite performance yet. NOBODY works harder on stage than Joe does.
