Topic: Hello from Newfoundland Canada

Hello all! Name is Brandon, I'm a Newfie from up north, from the tassel on Americas Hat if you will :-)
I play guitar, and I work doing conversions at a arena for Hockey games, concerts, conventions, etc

Big fan of Joes playing. Was introduced to him through a fluke in 2012 just after he released Live from New York at the Beacon Theater, when I seen his Twitter account and had recalled Lee Anderton (of Andertons Music Company, AKA the Captain, Does videos with Rob Chappers on YouTube) had mentioned him before.
First thing I ever heard/seen was the clip of him playing Slow Train at the Beacon Theater. A performance strong enough at the time (I was 16) for me to fall in love with Blues, and Blues Rock music. Coming from a background of various types of metal (Van Halen, Sabbath, Maiden, you know those ones) it was like a breath of fresh air. I've been hooked since and I'm definitely along for the ride. If it wasn't for Joe I wouldn't have found Stevie Ray Vaughan when I did, or BB King, Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson, Danny Gatton, Gary Moore, Paul Kossof. I could go on and on. Just opened a lot of doors for me. Also over the moon with the direction it has taken my own guitar playing, it's like the guitar has been so much more fun since I've moved away from the heavy-shredie stuff. (Not entirely, but I have more than not)

Well I don't wanna talk about that for too long on just a introduction. But that's me for now!

Cheers! :-D
