Topic: Guitar Techniques March Issue?

I bought the March issue of Guitar Techniques on my iPad - it's the one with "The Four Levels of Blues" on the cover.

I'd like to learn the first example from the provided tab and tracks, but the iPad version won't let you download the sample or the jam track (so I can change key on it)...

Went to the local Barnes and Noble bookstore, but they already have the April issue out, and even after checking in the back, they don't have the March issue any more.

Anybody out there bought the March issue in physical form - which came with a CD - and can send me just two little MP3s?

NW - thanks, but the problem is that I don't have the file on a computer.  It will play online from my iPad, and that's it...

Guitar Techniques is a great magazine, but a crappy iPad app or online subscription - IMHO! smile

Sorry I can't help Kevin - GT is one of my favourite magazines and I used to subscribe to the print version for many years, but switched to pure iPad about 18 months ago!  The one thing I do miss now is the backing tracks etc. which used to be on the CDs.  I can help with older issues, but the current ones are difficult.

Hope you find the tracks you need - if I come up with anything I will let you know.

Thanks Devan and NickelWound - I ended up doing the headphone-jack-to-input-wire deal.

Small loss of fidelity, but close enough for me to then pitch shift it and practice against.  Got it down now - appreciate the input guys!
