Jeff Beck is absolutely incredible live, as is his band.  By the way, I am pretty sure I had the lowest earnings for guitar playing in 2014.

That just seems odd to me...He dosen't tour that much and he doesn't sell that many discs...or am I wrong? ,,just seems a little off

With the cheapest tickets at 130 bucks, I would assume Mark Knopfler is going to have a nice payday in 2015.

I've read somewhere that maybe the highest paid is John Mayer (music, dvds, tour, but also many other stuff like perfumes, maybe clothing line and so on).

It makes sense to me, as he is a real money machine maker. Also all the glamour about is love life seems just like a great marketing plan.
I love his music and his playing  but sometimes it seems that he stopped making great albums like continuum and the trio to go back to that teenage pop stuff and now some country because there is where  the real money is right now.

But i have to admit that he has had a great influence on my way of playing and on my music, and with Joe, Mike McCready and Derek Trucks he is maybe the reason i still have a guitar in my hands and have such a great fun with it.

The Palladia version of "Jeff Beck Performing This Week... Live from Ronnie Scott's" from 2009 was one of the best televised live concert footage shows I've seen.
