Topic: Would Lithograph Blankets sell?

Do you think there would be demand for blankets made using images from Joe's lithographs?  If they put a 2 ticket meet and greet with them, they would probably retail for around $350.  I think Blues Deluxe and Gold Top. would look nice.

Re: Would Lithograph Blankets sell?

Not to be a wet blanket, but the idea is good but I am not sure the $350 package would be the way to go for a blanket.

My wife would start to wonder if I was curled up in a JB blanket

Re: Would Lithograph Blankets sell?

I wouldn't be into blankets, and I still don't know who's buying the bobble heads or the miniature guitars LOL,  but in another thread someone mentioned the STAGE RUGS- now THOSE I would drop some coin on!  It's a high-dollar item, but it's not a novelty- I think alot of us could use one for our gear room, or when we set up on a filthy stage, or a creaky one, or even for jams out in the garage.....

Re: Would Lithograph Blankets sell?

Back to the original question, I think a litho inspired blanket would sell.  Although not at the same price.  Would especially love copies of the first two or three  as they are hard to find.

$350???
I had to buy a Padres blanket to keep the wife warm when the game was tied and headed for extra innings. That was only(???) $85 at the stadium gift shop. A spot not known for discounts. roll
Those free tickets ended up costing me $175 with parking, food, beverages and such. Now I know why they were free.

Other than lithos, has Joe ever sold anything through the shop that they took orders and then made them?  I don't know if Joe has sold anything that shipped from where it was made instead of the his fulfillment center but it would make sense with 5' x 7' rugs.

In theory, the two ticket package with a M&G is worth approx $270 if you compare the prices of the Tour de Force Blu Ray sets.  For a blanket by itself, it would probably cost around $70.

Re: Would Lithograph Blankets sell?

Technically, the wouldn't be lithographs, but they'd have the images used from Joes litho series?
I really like the most recent blanket, although I haven't purchased it.
