Topic: Joe used to play the guitar high! Strap wise!

Just been trawling through You Tube and noticed Joe played his strat quite high in some vids (early days). Comfy playing position, kind of relates to being sat down and then upright! I find I have to practice stood up or else I have to re-learn finger positioning if I've learnt a song sat down. Maybe it's just me!!??

Yes, he had his guitar up higher when he was younger, and I'm sure it had to do with years of playing while sitting. I play more while seated, and I'm more comfortable sitting, and I play better, more accurately while sitting, but I'm not a professional musician. Playing comfortably while standing takes some getting used to.
