Topic: concert tshirt booth vs JB Store online

Hey all,

I'd like to ask if anyone has noticed better prices for merch at concerts or online in the JB Store?
I'm looking to make a few purchases, and I'll wait until April if the prices are cheaper at the concert.
I'd also save on shipping and I'd have it instantly! Let me know your experience.

Ask me about my handwound Great Lakes Guitar Pickups
Since 2010, Bonamassa fans have taken advantage of my JB friend discount = my cost + shipping. cool

at least in the US you get a selection..
I was at 3 different Canadian events that there was pretty much 1 world tour t and no other merch.
(I sent a note to Eric D to see if they can fix this for this spring)
the scalper out side had better t-shirts.
the Buffalo NY event I went to had everything. CD's , DVD's , T's, picks, hats, all
prices from what I remember where the same but no shipping charges of course.

Re: concert tshirt booth vs JB Store online

I think the last time I compared the prices at the show were a bit more so compared to shopping online you didn't save that much.  I've bought stuff that was breakable or small at the shows - those seem to be the best deal.

Blame the lack of selection of your government's revenue trickery.  Don't expect much of a change. sad

The shirts at the merch table at the shows are $35. Not sure what they are at the store. They generally have a decent selection, but obviously not everything.

Re: concert tshirt booth vs JB Store online

Depends on how many you buy but if only one or two, it's usually a wash due to shipping.

JBLP (aged) 293, JBLP STD, JB ES-335, JBLP Studio, JBLP Goldtop Epi, JBLP Inverness Green Epi.

Re: concert tshirt booth vs JB Store online

Canada is tough... We have leave all our merch in the USA before crossing. It is nightmare... Generally we try to keep pricing the same. There are exceptions of course. The house generally takes 20 to 30 percent by the time is all over.

That's too bad Joe.

Wonder how Buddy Guy did it in Toronto with his merch table?
he had quite the selection

The real point is.. I'll be there on April11 to hear you live.. not the merch anyways so all is good.

Joe's website had some tee's marked to $10 at the end of last year.  There were a couple of concerts ones but most were album artwork.
