D'Addario make an 11-52 set
That's what I use on all my guitars.
D'Addario make an 11-52 set
Been using those strings for a few years now... love em.
i had a similar problem with a brand new les paul standard.i use 11-52 strings, wraparound, stopbar at lowest position,medium-high action, allmost straight neck with very small amount of relief, and had buzz at 5-7th fret at low E and A and detune at theese strings.the problem was a bad factory nut that couldnt handle this kind of set-up.when i put an after market nut (i tested graphtech and tusq.i kept tusq and the other i have it spare) the problem dissapeared.
check the nut.in my opinion its, maybe, the most important factor for a well done set-up or lets say for the "geometry of the guitar".
Hmmm... interesting... i know nut can cause problems but i thought thats more back buzz and just open string buzz?
Thanks for all the replies by the way guys!

Thanks, I will check them out...
Which ever manufacture you get I strongly suggest you try Pure Nickle. But that like strings, brands of manufacture are all depend on how they feel in your hands. What I did to be certain I made the right choice for me a few years ago I purchased sets from all manufactures mentioned here and others. That is how I found Curt Mangan 11-52 pure nickels sound and feel far superior then all others. But as I said everyone is different. Good luck I am sure you will find the ones that work for you.
Cheers Ron
I always choose strings based on how they feel, against my wallet.
And D'Addario usually feel pretty good
I never go dirt cheap though, D'Addario use the cheapest method possible for packaging which probably explains it.
