Re: "Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea" Cruise

Okay people, here we go. This is the first and to probably all of us on the cruise, the unexpected and standout song of the event: The Thrill Is Gone performed during the "Artist's Jam". Joe joined Josh Smith, Kirk Fletcher, JD Simo, Paulie Cerra on Sax and Fred Kron on Keyboards, Travis Carlton on Bass and Lemar Carter on Drums.

Re: "Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea" Cruise

I was lucky enough to see Joe do this back in 2008 with Sam Bush - a rare treat for sure (although with the upcoming 3 Kings tour I imagine we'll be seeing a bit more of it).  Glad you are home safe and look forward to more vids and stories from you and everyone.

Yeah, I've been wanting to see him perform it for a long time, so afterwards when I thanked him for playing it he said he has kind of been practicing it for that. Absolutely love how he plays and sings it.

I'm going to be putting up the videos in somewhat of a random order, because there are so many and I wanted to start with highlights and work from there.

Re: "Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea" Cruise

Does anyone have a schedule of each day's gigs? Also, how many fans on the cruise?

Re: "Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea" Cruise

Kenny here is a photo of the schedules. Click on the photo and it will enlarge so you can see it better.

Re: "Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea" Cruise

Joe's shows were great, I especially enjoyed being able to finally see RCFP.  The great thing about the cruise venue for me was the artist jam and the exposure to all of the bands I've never been able to see before.

Much kudos to Joe and the crew for the selection of bands they brought onboard. 3

Re: "Keeping the Blues Alive At Sea" Cruise

Here are a few from Josh Smith & Kirk Fletcher's set on the 17th. The huge screen behind the stage was really annoying for filming. It was so pixelated and a horrible color. Really wish there could have been a curtain pulled across it.
