Cool

The album is being produced by Kevin Shirley,
Randy says Shirley encouraged him to write new songs for the project rather than redo some blues standards

Oh Dear Lord this has all the makings of a truly great album!!!!!

If you look up to the heavens just before the start of every Joe Bonamasaa concert you can see Stevie, Jimi, Muddy, Gary and others leaning over God’s railing jockeying for the best view.
And if you listen, you can hear Stevie say  “ SHHhhhh,  The kids about to start playing.”

"Randy Bachman has released a stream of his track Heavy Blues, featuring a guest appearance by Peter Frampton.

It’s taken from the album of the same name, to be launched on April 13 under the band name Bachman. Other guests include Joe Bonamassa, Neil Young Scott Holiday of Rival Sons and the late Jeff Healey.

Heavy Blues, available for pre-order now, was produced by Kevin Shirley and features bassist Anna Ruddick and drummer Dale Anne Brendan.

Bachman recently said: “I’ve known Kevin for many years. I knew he could push me past my limit and direct me down new roads. The collaboration, paired with Dale and Anna, has made this an amazing experience.”

Never a big fan of Randy Bachman.  Listened on ITunes nothing there that changed my mind.  I understand that some people like it, just not my thing.  Think this is the first thing ever, that Joe was involved in that I will pass on.  It's about time, I have probably bought him one of his guitars by myself, LOL.  Keep cranking it out Joe and I'll keep buying it.
