Topic: Tom Petty Won't Back Down

We have all probably heard of the recent song royalty bonus to Tom owing to Sam Smith's "Stay with me" sounding like " I won't back down". All done graciously and out of court.

Just wanted to share this video with you. Its a hoot.

Brought a chuckle and a smile but might have been a laugh if I'd heard Sam Smith's Stay With Me. I confess I thought "who's he" when I heard he'd won four Grammy Awards.

My thoughts exactly .. lol .. but I just gave the song a listen

It would appear that in 20 years, and full out micro analysing every hit song, might just mean all releases will have to come with digi books to facilitate all the 'sounds like mine' credits

Awesome news for those folks holding multiple catalogues .. (but, then again .. what do I know .. lol)
