Using my Tour de Force tickets for 3 Kings in Bangor will hopefully work out.  A win just for getting to see this concert, another win if the seats are good.

Actually I get a third win out of this one since I will Bonabaptise my brother!  He has done a lot for me over the years, so this will be a small payback.  Of course it might have been his way for mending some of the crap when we were kids, I don't know!!  wink   Either way it will be awesome.

Awesome Steve! .. wish I'd seen ur tickie dilemma sooner .. lol

U and the brother will have a blast!  Took my brother to my 1st show last spring in TO (he lives there) .. was a kinda bonabaptism for both of us .. cept he was in the 'bonawho?' group.

ps: Ur not off the hook yet, my friend .. I'm workin on it .. U may just have to pick me up on the way by wink

Cheers!  cool

Keep me posted, I'd be up for that.  As it happens, my brother lives in Toronto as well.  He spends his summer vacation here so it works out well.

So, so happy we were able to get the fantastic combo pack tickets for both of the San Diego shows. It'll be so much fun sitting with some of my favorite people in Bonaworld. That is what makes shows extra special, when you get to experience it with good friends. The only trick will be getting to that first show on Wednesday. Need to drop off our son at college in the morning, hop a flight around 1, arrive in San Diego around 5:30. I know I'm going to be a nervous wreck, hate flying in the day of the show, but in the end it will all be worth it smile

I envy you, big time!  we mulled over the SD options originally, before going with an Ohio venue

I'm curious about the airfares you found... Southwest always has great rates out of BWI; but a few times in the past I've used the JB flight from DC to Long Beach and drove south, because that airfare couldn't be beat

have a BLAST!

Very true! The fare from LA-SD is a ripoff. It's a two hour drive and a car rental is a moneysaver for sure. For those flying in, the venue is very close to the airport, which is centrally located in the city center. An easy 10 minute cab ride.

looks like Ohio bound for my summer Joe fix....cant do Red Rocks on a monday living in Indiana

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

If anyone is interested, I found that the Albany, NY PBS station (WMHT) has 2 tickets to the 3 Kings show in Saratoga, 2 Meet and greet passes, the Red Rocks DVD and CD's for $575 or 2 tickets to the concert for $275. I do not know, nor does the station know, where the tickets are (per their rep they are inside seating, and in the best 50% of the total available seats and are blocked out by the venue) Let's just say I am going to have extra tickets for Saratoga to sell at some point.

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

For a laugh ... I checked out Ticketmaster.com today (7/31) to see what seats were available for the Camden NJ show next Fri 8/7 (the kick off of the 3 Kings.)

All kinds of PIT seats are coming up ... Row 4 dead center ... Row 1 on the Side Stage Sections. smile

So ... like in the old days ... as your date approaches ... check Ticketmaster.  (These Pits were no where to be found back in Feb. smile)

George and I are SO excited for the first show. He flies back to Amsterdam on Monday, so a fitting end to his visit. Gates open at 4:30pm and tailgating is allowed. We will be there at 4:30, probably in a big, gray, Chrysler 300.   http://www.susquehannabankcenter.org/su … ailgating/

I did the same and got 3rd row PIT for $153.  And better yet the temp isn't expected to be over 82 degrees with no humidity!

Originally I was not going to be able to go to the show in Mountain View, Ca. because of my wife's work schedule but things have changed so I am now looking for a couple of tickets...went to the tix site and saw good tix priced as high as $400 a pop....I don't see that high of price anywhere else I look on the tour...any answers as to why???? Should I just wait and try to snatch some late opening seats as you were talking about???

Did you check live nation for tickets? I just took a look at their site:

http://concerts.livenation.com/event/1C004E36FAA67219

I see that they have a good amount of tickets left. Using the interactive map, avoid any seats that have red icon as those are being resold by others.

Good luck!

Bill

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

Thanks Bill, I see what you mean now about the red ones....I was hoping to get a bit closer but I guess that's what I get for getting to the dance late....thanks again though....

Re: 3 Kings Summer Amphitheatre Tour

There are a lot of seats available at many of the venues for any who waited and are worried about getting shut out. I went through a few of the early show  venues and only Hyannis seemed sold out

Will be right behind you in 4.  Will probably be running to the show as it begins ... but hope to say hi  (I'll yell "Indy" smile) ... along with seeing Cathy,  Natasha & Phil once again.

Enjoy smile
